Our insoles offer soft comfort and excellent shock absorption, reducing fatigue and muscle soreness. They also promote airflow and moisture wicking, keeping your feet cool and dry all day long. Because our standards go beyond the quality of our soles, we pay close attention to the sourcing and durability of the materials used in our safety shoes.
The leathers and textiles of our safety shoes.
At Lemaitre, we use high-quality leathers with a greater thickness for extended product lifespan.
Our shoes are made from full-grain leathers, rigorously selected for their quality and durability. Sourced from the best cowhide or buffalo hides, these leathers typically come from the rump, the densest and most resistant part of the leather. We have chosen this for its durability, comfort, and protection qualities.
In our safety shoes, you can find suede, smooth, or textured leather.
Regarding textiles, just like leather, we ensure that we offer high-quality fabrics. We also work with well-known brands such as Sympatex® for breathable waterproof linings.
Thus, we feature 3D micro-aerated textiles, breathable waterproof materials, synthetic fur, and recycled materials like recycled polyester (PET), used in the manufacturing of Lemaitre Safety Green labeled products.
The protective toe caps
Protective toe caps are like the foundations of safety shoes.
The protective toe cap is the part at the front of the safety shoe that covers the toes. It protects them from impacts that could cause injuries.
At Lemaitre, we use four types of protective toe caps in the design of our safety shoes:
